First off, Nick at Golfland warehouse is awesome. Order with confidence!

I was in the first shipment and received my mx. Yes, the website is still not functioning which is a bit disheartening. I emailed Callaway and have not yet heard back.

As for the unit, my initial impressions are very positive. It feels pretty solid and not cheap IMHO. The battery compartment holds together with a little screw thingy which I believe gives it a tighter fit than just a "clip", maybe for water resistance? I think the size is perfect for a GPS unit. It is pretty small but there are settings for font size and other graphics to help those who are "visually challenged". The touch screen works fine but you can also use the optical sensor if you are more comfortable with that. I checked out my course in the "preview" mode and was impressed with the inventory of hazards available in the basic mode and go modes (free). My wife grabbed it for a rain-shortened round this morning (i had to work) and used it in Go Mode (view of green and approach distances only) and was very excited - she was able to figure out how to use the shot tracking feature and tracked several solid 7-iron shots which then provided average distance for that club - I am personally really excited for this feature. On the scorecard feature, you can enter in "favorite" partners that you can choose from when you start a round to avoid having to re-enter initials.

Sorry for the limited review, I mainly wanted to thank Golfland Warehouse for another fine transaction and give initial impressions. Hopefully I can get my course in "Pro Mode" soon and get out later in the week to put it through its paces.

BUYER BEWARE!
Garbage is an understatement for this little guy. Has all the potential in the world for golf lovers looking for a solid GPS unit. Oh, just a few problems though. Website took an unreal time to launch, software screwed up my computer, and let me not forget the fact that this little guy DOESN'T EVEN TURN ON ANYMORE!!!!!!! Do yourself a huge favor and stay away from this product. Let's get this whole ordeal corrected, huh Callaway!!!!!!!!!!!

I have keep my Upro MX form last year and never had problems. And now with the new downloads to MX+ I have the best product out there! Service people have been great also. No, I don't work for Callaway, I stay with them because they always took care of me when I had a problem.

Really disappointing for a device that could be so good. Multiple issues with marginal support from Callaway. Heard today that they are about to abandon this product due to dismal response to re- launch.

Just got my UPRO MX+ yesterday 14/3/2013. Callawayuxplore website sucks big time, you can't register, can't sync, can't download.....
