Founded in 1973, Cobra Golf was founded by Australian amateur golf champ, Thomas Crow. In 1975, the "Baffler" was the first utility wood as a new new category in golf clubs. Over the years, the Cobra Golf continued to emerge in technologies, and became the the first U.S club manufacturer to offer stock graphite-shafted woods and irons. Over the years, Cobra Golf has been well represented on the professional circuit boasting names like Greg "The Shark" Norman and current players like Ian Poulter, Jesper Parnevik, Camilo Villegas, just to name a few. In 2010, PUMA AG purchased Cobra Golf and created a new company, COBRA-PUMA Golf, leveraging PUMA's excellent line of footwear and apparel with Cobra's advanced equipment and accessories.
