TaylorMade Spider Ghost Putter

Talk about great timing…Just as TaylorMade was set to announce the retail availability of its new Ghost Spider putter, Jason Day put one into play at the U.S. Open and promptly went on a wicked stretch of 45 consecutive bogey-free holes to claim second place. The Ghost Spider is the newest addition to the Ghost family, but it also carries an aura of familiarity, as it is quite similar to the original TaylorMade Spider that was released to great fanfare a few years ago. This time, however, the Spider comes with TaylorMade’s signature white Ghost finish, which is designed to heighten visual contrast with the green for improved alignment. TaylorMade says that several tour professionals requested “ghosted” Spider prototypes, and thus this new hybrid was born.
