Callaway uPro MX+Callaway has officially announced the long anticipated update to the Callaway uPro MX, enter the new and improved Callaway uPro MX+! Callaway has been feverishly testing and re-testing the software that plagued the original uPro MX and fixed all major issues. The new Callaway uPro MX+ is what we all expected the uPro MX to be; a sleek, stable, relatively inexpensive alternative to some of the other units cost up to twice the $249.99 MSRP of the Callaway uPro.

The Callaway uPro has some of the best features a golfer could ask for bundled in a very slim package. At nearly half the size and weight of most other devices, the sleek design of the upro mx allows for convenient one-handed operation that is easy to carry in your pocket. Some of my favorites features include the multi-gesture tough screen which allows easy navigation of features with a swipe of your finger, over 25,000 preloaded courses, hi-res aerial course images*, video fly-over* (especially helpful if you play unfamiliar courses!). Another useful feature for hackers like me is the hazard view. I don\'t always hit the fairways, hazard view allows you to see what hazards lie ahead and how far they are so you can do your best to avoid them! You can also track your score and the scores of your group using the uPro MX+.

Overall the uPro MX+ is ideal for players who like big features in small packages. Does this GPS do it all? No, but I haven\'t found a feature that I needed that it didn\'t have. Go-Mode, the basic mode of the uPro MX+ GPS is usually all I need for local courses. Adding Pro-Mode enhances the functionality even further and makes this a true leader in features and price in the golf GPS category.
