Tiger Woods joins the TaylorMade family

On January 25th, 2017, Tiger Woods announced on  Twitter that he was joining the TaylorMade family. 

Tiger was first spotted using TaylorMade golf clubs in the weeks prior to his return to competitive golf at the Hero World Challenge in early December. During the tournament, he used TaylorMade’s 2016 M2 driver (9.5 degrees) and two TaylorMade 2016 M1 fairway woods (15 and 19 degrees).

On this video from  TaylorMade, Tiger can be seen using a TaylorMade Driver and accompanied by Frank, his iconic Tiger headcover from Daphne's Headcovers.


These are the TaylorMade metalwoods Tiger would be using: 

Driver: TaylorMade 2016 M2 (9.5 degrees)
Shaft: Mitsubishi Rayon Tensei CK Pro White 70TX
Specs: 44.5 inches, D4 swing weight

3 Wood: TaylorMade 2017 M2 Tour (13 degrees)
Shaft: Mitsubishi Rayon Tensei CK Pro White 90TX
Specs: 42.5 inches, D4 swing weight

5 Wood: TaylorMade 2017 M1 Tour (19 degrees)
Shaft: Mitsubishi Rayon Tensei CK Pro White 90TX
Specs: 41.5 inches, D4 swing weight

This is reported to be a 13-club contract with TaylorMade, but Woods will not be switching to TaylorMade irons just yet.
